Meet Your Dr.

Dr. Darcey Ladner, DC

Throughout her professional career, Dr. Darcey has founded, owned, and operated several multi-doctor and multi-discipline chiropractic clinics throughout North Carolina. In 2022, she decided to make a change and shift focus from the lives of many - to her own family and animal practice, Omni Animal Chiropractic. She continues consulting work for the chiropractic and wellness professionals.

Dr. Darcey planned on becoming a veterinarian and declared a pre-med major in college. She was on the equestrian team and had a horse go lame. The best veterinarians in the area provided nerve blocks, cortisone injections and more, but nothing helped.

Finally, a chiropractor adjusted the horse, and the animal was sound again. That was Dr. Darcey’s introduction to chiropractic.  A year later, a riding accident led to a significant back injury.

This injury was Dr. Darcey’s first opportunity to get help from a chiropractor. The experience led her to change focus and enroll in chiropractic school. Dr. Darcey earned a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan University. In school, as she learned more about chiropractic, she realized that no medication could do what a chiropractor could. The body’s ability to heal itself is amazing. Aiding that by removing nerve interference using just my hands is remarkable.

Enjoying an active life

Dr. Darcey has three children that keep her busy. They are competitive athletes, so her family can often be found on various sports fields. If they’re not playing, they enjoy riding dirt bikes, spending time at the barn riding horses or swimming at the pool. Dr. Darcey is also passionate about good nutrition and enjoys cooking.

Once a healer, always a healer

At the request of local friends and teammates - and because of her commitment to health, observing the great need of chiropractic in the lives of many young athletes, and her pure amazement of chiropractic and the body's natural ability to heal itself, Dr. Darcey does offer concierge chiropractic care to local friends in a boutique setting.
